12/03/2023: Rethinking Education – Artificial Intelligence in Education

In fact, ChatGPT presents an opportunity for us to rethink how we evaluate our students, moving away from the outdated exam-centric approach that emphasizes rote memorization. Rather than simply memorizing information, we should encourage our students to develop more relevant skills in the modern world. This means incorporating more case studies and problem-solving exercises into our assignments and exams so that our students can develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

In today’s highly competitive environment, knowledge and a degree are insufficient. Instead, we must focus on developing a range of “horizontal” skills, such as communication, collaboration, and adaptability. By prioritizing these skills, we can help our students become more well-rounded and successful personally and professionally. So, let’s embrace this opportunity to shift our focus away from memorization and towards a more holistic approach to education.

27/11/2022: META-FASHION: From Maria Antoinette to Digital Fashion

The concept of fashion goes back to when people started wearing clothes to protect themselves. Over the years, clothing, from being a means of preserving the human body, became a means of expression and a symbol of prosperity. People’s character and aesthetics are reflected in how they dress. From the 1700s, clothing design takes on an identity, and the first fashion designers set the trends for imperial clothing. In the middle of the same century, names such as Marie Madeleine Duchapt, Mademoiselle Alexandre, and Le Sieur Beaulard defined France and Paris as the fashion capital. But how does this trend now seem to threaten the planet’s future, and how is technology expected to change how it works drastically?

31/10/2022: Arts and Artificial Intelligence

Through his creativity, man gave birth to the arts and gave color to life. What would humanity be like without Beethoven’s ninth symphony? Would love have the same meaning if Shakespeare didn’t praise it in Romeo and Juliet? How would we define the standard of beauty if Leonardo da Vinci didn’t paint the Mona Lisa? Would Paris be as beautiful without the Eiffel Tower? Machines may surpass human nature in the way they solve mathematical problems. Still, they cannot, in any case, perceive the flight of activating emotions and the dialogue with the soul. Or can they?

02/10/2022: Artificial Intelligence and Human Rights

Have we been so preoccupied in recent years with the achievements of artificial intelligence that we fail to understand that day by day, while our lives are getting easier, our human rights are being violated? So we enjoy the convenience offered by our mobile phones, digital advisors, social media, and even search engines. We do not realize that our personal lives are exposed to companies and organizations to the extent that our privacy is deafeningly violated. The phrase “I have nothing to hide” reveals our willful blindness while distracting us from the impending threat. But why is it dangerous to expose our data and blindly trust the algorithms that artificial intelligence produces?
